Morgan Lewis is currently seeking a part-time (4 days/week) Enterprise Applications Administrator for its firm-wide Information Technology Department. This position reports to the Manager of Practice Application Services and is primarily responsible for the administration of the Firm's practice specific applications. Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve upon the day to day operational requirements of the practice specific applications
• As a Data Requests Administrator, coordinate and accurately execute on requests for data extractions and aggregation from various internal systems
• System administration of various practice specific applications (Prolaw, CPi, Livenote, & others)

* Obtain, document and communicate accurate business objectives received from the Firm's practices

* Responsibility for the communication and coordination of changes and tasks with individual practices as required
* Responsibility for the successful development of a mutually productive relationship with the practices
* Understanding the value of the service to the organization and how it enhances the overall delivery of services to the Firm's clients
* In coordination with the practice, if applicable, anticipating business requirements and its effect on the existing infrastructure
* Consistent and tangible improvements to the service, either in coordination with the practice or self initiated
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 3 + years in an IT Systems Administration capacity, e.g. AD / Exchange system administration
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to learn and support third party products and technologies as required by the Firm
• Willingness and ability to learn the business aspects of the Firm's Practices and the impact of technology to established and future processes
• Committed to the development, implementation, and improvement of the technology services which are part of the Firm's Practices
• Working knowledge of Microsoft's Windows Server Operating System versions 2003 & 2008; certifications preferred
• Working knowledge of Database systems including: TSQL query / scripting, data cleansing / reconciliation; certifications preferred
• Knowledge of MS Exchange Server systems administration; certifications preferred
• Flexible work schedule to account for scheduled maintenance events and/or off hour issue resolution
• Excellent communication skills with a positive service-oriented demeanor
• Strong analytical, time management, organizational and hands-on problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented IT environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
• Results-oriented and a demonstrated ability to work independently
