- Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP is seeking a Practice Support Consultant to support the Phoenix office. This position will help manage electronic litigation projects, provide in-trial support, advise legal teams to understand their litigation needs from a technical standpoint, and provide guidance for appropriate technical solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage litigation support and e-discovery projects in coordination with legal team.
• Process and load data into litigation support programs such as Concordance, Relativity, TrialDirector, LiveNote, and other litigation tools.
• Advise legal teams on litigation support/e-discovery best practices.
• Provide end user training for litigation support software.
• Advise on appropriate data collection methodologies.
• Provide in-trial support for legal teams.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Manage vendors and advise legal teams and department management on product quality and schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Work Experience, and Skills
• BA or BS degree required; JD preferred - or equivalent in combined education and experience.
• Two years litigation support/e-discovery project management or consulting experience.
• Familiarity with litigation support and e-discovery processes.
• Familiarity with war room setup and trial support processes and software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with LAN and WAN systems architecture.
• A broad range of computer knowledge and excellent problem solving skills.
