- A Chicago based law firm, is seeking an experienced Technology Manager to provide coordination of all legal and non-legal information systems for the firm. The Technology Manager will report to the Executive Director and work with all Practice Group Leaders and Senior Staff. In addition, this position is responsible for managing the litigation support function, managing and preparing the IT budget, working with onsite engineers and consultants, special projects, managing the Help Desk function, back office computer operations, communication systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging and office automation as well as end-user training programs. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years prior experience in the management and support of law firm information systems, management of IT staff and experience in information systems planning to support business goals. Desktop Support Analyst – LA – New Orleans

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
• First to respond to support calls, emails and trouble tickets from the end-users.
• Create and maintain support call records with help-desk ticketing system.
• Use available resources to find a timely resolution to end-user issues.
• Provide feedback and a resolution to the end-user regarding their issue in a reasonable time.
• Support end-user requests for use of Firm equipment and maintain accurate records of inventory of Firm’s equipment.
• Work closely with other members of the IT team in supporting the Firm’s users and systems.

Qualifications of successful candidate:
• Proficient in MS Office products and Windows operating systems.
• Working knowledge and understanding of computer networking terms and troubleshooting skills.

Financial Systems Analyst, Level III – IL – Chicago

The level III Analyst will be heavily involved in several projects including financial systems upgrades and implementations.

Responsibilities:
• Provide solutions for the Financial Systems Development Department
• Work with the IT management and staff to integrate and continually evolve operations program/project management methods and practices
• Responsible for software support related to department’s customized or packaged financial applications; Lawdrill/Billdrill, Cognos-Business Intelligence, Redwood Analytics, DTE, Necho, Crystal Reporting
• Ensure preventative maintenance in your field of expertise is regularly planned and implemented
• Contribute to financial applications user and systems needs analysis and requirements definition projects
• Develop and review data design, interface, user, functional and technical design documentation
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs
• Work with the IT management and staff to integrate and continually evolve operations program/project management methods and practices
• Act as a technology resource to the Firm for industry trends, technology implementations, change management issues
• Develop written and oral communications that clearly explain technical concepts using non-technical language: effectively communicate to management and users technology and process pros/cons, IT strategies and trade-offs
• Liaise between Firm management, sponsors, users and other IT personnel to communicate issues regarding overall operations status, strategy and plans
• Evaluate new financial products/applications deemed to be appropriate to the Firm's business

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
• Experience with Enterprise Financial Systems (Aderant Expert/CMS preferred).
• 4+ years of working with Microsoft applications
• 4+ years working with financial and reporting tools
• Understanding and practical experience working with Accounting-based systems.
• Excellent working knowledge of relational databases
• Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
