- The Richmond office of
Hunton & Williams LLP is actively recruiting a Practice Technology Trainer to provide training, coaching, and support to individuals and legal teams to ensure effective utilization of technology is achieved. This position will gain understanding of practice specific processes and deliver skills development and enhancement training.
Qualified candidates should possess a college degree or equivalent work experience in a legal environment and a minimum of three years experience learning, developing, teaching, and supporting technology applications. Excellent oral and strong written communications necessary. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong service orientation required. Law firm experience a plus. Working knowledge, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge, for training and problem solving of firm supported applications such as Microsoft Office Suites, Interwoven, Autonomy Worksite, Trouble Ticket Software, and similar applications.
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must possess the ability or aptitude to proficiently perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above. Examples include: ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication. Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory. Hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., M-F.
