Proposal Coordinator – MA – Boston or NY – New York

The proposal coordinator is located in either the Boston or New York office and will be responsible for providing day-to-day assistance in the coordination of Requests for Proposals, Preferred Provider Program submissions and customized pitch materials. The proposal coordinator will also help update and maintain the RFP database and related content. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, with strong project management skills and writing experience in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate day-to-day requests for proposal/pitch support under the direction of the proposal manager.
- Update and maintain practice descriptions, tailored content and other standard response language used in proposals and RFPs.
- Develop timelines and action plans for the efficient delivery of submissions and be responsible for appropriate follow-up.
- Coordinate and maintain knowledge management systems, including a proposal database to streamline response efficiencies and ensure content is updated.
-Assist with the tracking of business development efforts and reporting "wins/losses."

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

- Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years marketing experience
- Excellent organization, project management, and communication skills required
- Knowledge of the principles and practices associated with the development of advanced marketing materials and knowledge of law firm practices
- Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation and grammar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment. The candidate is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Some travel may be required.

Litigation Technology Analyst – TN – Nashville

Bass Berry & Sims is in need of a long term temporary Litigation Technology/Support Analyst for the Nashville office.  Some of the job duties will include:

1.   Assist with the software applications, computer hardware and courtroom presentation technology assigned to the Litigation department, and their deployment to the attorneys and staff in the department.
2.   Assist with creation and maintenance of document databases, data conversion, data imports and exports, and production of documents.
3.   Assist with project management on litigation cases involving large volumes of documents and transcripts requiring use of litigation support software. 
4.   Provide litigation support services using Trial Director, PowerPoint, TimeMap, Summation and other software.
5.   Assist the various other litigation-based practice areas and remote offices with litigation technology support needs where appropriate.
6.   Handle other duties as assigned by the Litigation Technology Manager or others with work assignments.
 
The ideal candidate will have one to three years minimum experience in litigation technology support to include the installation, configuration and maintenance of applications such as Summation, Trial Director, Catalyst or other web based repositories.

Excellent organizational skills required to manage a variety of complex projects with tight deadlines. Ability to work with varying levels of employees, paralegals, attorneys and vendors with a focus towards customer satisfaction. Must have demonstrated proficiency in the entire litigation support process including the use of database management searching and reporting, scanning and coding procedures, electronic discovery management, document production and trial support. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required to resolve complex issues using technology. Must be able to handle high stress situations and deal successfully with conflict. Must be able to exercise sound independent judgment.
