Document Management Application Engineer – PA – Philadelphia

Job Description:
The DMS (Document Management Systems) Application Engineer provides application support to client document management systems - Interwoven WorkSite and other components.

Requires Interwoven WorkSite and Microsoft SQL knowledge. This position is part of the Document Management team reporting to the Engineering Manager. Routine tasks include, but are not limited to, WorkSite system design and conversions, WorkSite system administration, responding to user support tickets, document discovery, and export projects.

Experience Level:
5+ years working in a legal/consulting environment

Requirements:
* Assist with project planning and implementation of the project to migrate from DOCS Open/DM5 to Interwoven.
* Install, configure, and maintain Interwoven WorkSite Environment which includes DM server, E-Mail Management, Mobility and WorkSite Web IDOL Indexer.
* Provide system administration support including server and client software installations, systems and database monitoring, migration and associated documentation required to optimize the performance of this system
* Design and support Matter-Centric systems and associated third-party tools required
* Maintain validation data replications and ethical walls. Ensure validation data is replicated.
* Collaborate and work with financial systems analysts, developers and other application specialists to plan and implement technical specifications for interfaces, application integration, enhancements, and reports
* Provide SQL application database administration as it applies to DMS
* Maintain adequate documentation of all processes and procedures related to the implementation and support of the document management systems
* Perform document extracts and imports as needed
* Minimum 2-4 years experience administering Interwoven DMS system
* Certified WorkSite 8.x Interwoven Certified System Engineer a plus
* Strong SQL skill and ability to create ad-hoc SQL Scripts and generate reports
* Prior DOCSOpen/DM5 to WorkSite migration experience. IntApp, DOCS Open Management

Database and Applications Engineer – LA – New Orleans

Purpose:

This position is responsible for defining user requirements, development of solutions and application administration. The position provides second level Helpdesk support for all software applications and databases used by the firm.  This position has overall responsibility for server based application installation, support, administration, maintenance and development.

Responsibilities:

• Support all databases including SQL Server 2000 and 2005
• Database support for commercial 3rd party applications
• Code, test, and implement stored procedures to support application requirements.
• Support bulk data migration tasks.
• Improve and maintain database/index performance.
• Troubleshoot database issues, identify root causes, and implement optimal solutions.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of SQL server backups
• Support database/web integration when needed
• Support SharePoint and assist in administration

Qualifications:

5 Years of progressive experience with SQL 2000/2005 system platforms, IIS and Internet portals.
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to relate well to all levels of users.
Excellent team-building and collaborative skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Proven problem solving ability.
Legal experience a plus.
