Job Description: 
Apple is seeking an exceptional Information Security systems expert to join a world-class information security team. This is a highly technical, hands-on role in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

As a member of the Security Incident Response Team, responsibilities include:
-Information Security incident support for IT systems and networks.
-Perform detailed incident analysis of systems and networks to determine incident cause and remediation.
-Use of excellent communication skills to interface with various business organizations both in and external to IT to provide security guidance and incident reporting.
-Creating detailed, professional documentation, presentations and reports for senior management.
-Support IT Security infrastructure including UNIX, LINUX and Mac OS X systems, SAN storage & switches, firewalls, network devices and network infrastructure.
-Proactively monitor and assess networks and systems using network content analysis tools, SIM and vulnerability assessment tools.
-Perform security assessments on security infrastructure and third party environments.
-Support e-discovery applications and processes.
-Research information security trends, tools and practices to drive the improvement and evolution of existing processes and technologies.

Requirements:
-A strong ability to multi-task and manage varying priorities and projects.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex problems and respond to security incidents.
-Experience supporting and working with legal departments in e-discovery and various litigious matters.
-Familiarity and understanding of recent attack vectors and exploits.
-Experience with network and system forensics including extraction and analysis of disk, network, peripheral data and evidence handling.
-Proficient in Mac OS X or other flavors of UNIX or LINUX with experience in OS hardening, access control configuration and analysis.
-Strong in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and networking concepts such as VLANs, access control lists, routing, switching and switch configuration, firewalls.
-Experience with network vulnerability assessment tools and scanners - from open source tools such as nmap to commercial network appliances.
-Experience supporting and using network content analysis tools, including packet sniffers, DLP, application firewalls.
-Experience managing and deploying Mac OS X or Unix servers in a data center environment hosting and supporting critical applications and services.
-Strong scripting skills with PERL, shell or Ruby.

Position requires a BS in Computer Science or 4+ years of equivalent, hands-on information security experience in large enterprise environments. Relevant Information Security certifications are a plus.

Apple is seeking an exceptional Information Security forensics specialist to join a world-class information security team. This is a highly technical hands-on role in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

As a member of the information Security Incident Response Team, acting as a forensic technical lead, candidate responsibilities include:

-Acting as a liaison with Apple legal and litigation specialists to respond and coordinate e-discovery matters.
-Provides technical requirements and guidance to IS&T development teams to drive development of internal content indexing and processing systems.
-Supporting day to day electronic data discovery collection and processing efforts.
-Monitoring the performance of e-discovery processing environments for reporting and analytics.
-Maintaining case and data archive inventories and retention programs, using databases and legal systems.
-Maintains and updates SOPs for e-discovery processing and collections.
-Administers supporting infrastructure, SAN storage and Linux, UNIX and Mac OS X systems, including build out and deployment of new systems and ongoing support.
-Creating detailed, professional documentation and reports, including performance metrics and presentations for management.
-Supports securing operating environments and data repositories including patch management, access control and security threat monitoring.
-Supporting information security incidents by performing forensic investigations and keeping up with modern information security attack vectors and exploits.

-A solid understanding of modern computer file system concepts, forensics and secure evidence handling techniques.
-Subject matter expertise in Email server applications and protocols.
-Possess project management skills, with the ability to create detailed project plans and ability to drive projects to completion.
-Proficient in Mac OS X or other flavors of UNIX or LINUX including file sharing and secure transfer technologies.
