IT Security Analyst – FL – Tampa
Saturday, March 6th, 2010Work directly with the Chief Information Officer and IT Department Managers to plan, develop, and monitor administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect the firm and its clients. Work closely with the Loss Prevention Group to identify appropriate policies and implement in a reasonable and effective manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Participate in defining and implementing overall security strategy, policies, and procedures.
2. Provide security advice and guidance to systems engineers and management.
3. Participate in physical security projects and develop physical security and safety skill sets.
4. Perform security audits, risk analysis, and application-level vulnerability testing and reviews.
5. Collaborate on solutions to mitigate risks and enhance system security.
6. Implement cost effective security controls to meet firm's security requirements.
7. Lead security projects including requirements definition, task planning, research, testing, implementation, and management.
8. Assist in developing security awareness materials, security presentations, and information security training sessions.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Five or more years of experience in security field and experience within the last three years with current industry security best practices.
2. Advanced knowledge of information security and computer network access technologies.
3. Knowledge of HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, and other relevant statutory requirements.
4. In-depth technical knowledge in implementing data protection and integrity, operating systems and network security, authentication, and security protocols.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with IT and business units.
6. Experience maintaining operational computer and network security, firewall administration, virus protection, intrusion detection and prevention, automated security patching, and vulnerability scanning systems.
7. Experience administering information security programs including risk assessments and forensic research, designing security architectures, developing policies, gathering metrics, and reporting status.
8. Security related experience with Microsoft Operating systems for servers and desktops.
9. Security related experience with MS IIS, MS SQL, and Sharepoint.
10. Proven project management skills.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/ADDITIONAL EDUCATION:
CISSP or similar Information Security certification; Excellent customer service skills; Strong team player in a dynamic environment

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the SharePoint Administrator (Contract to Hire) you will be responsible for 2nd level support for our portal related systems, both external and internal including SharePoint/WSS/MOSS 2007. Must be proficient in SharePoint/MOSS architecture, design, administration and related technologies including farm configuration and scaling. Must have a strong grasp of web development using Visual Studio and be able to assist others developing custom web parts for SharePoint. Must be able to troubleshoot both site and server issues. Ensure client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position.
QUALIFICATIONS
1) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or relate field 2) Minimum 2 years of SharePoint Systems administration and implementation. 3) Working knowledge with SharePoint Workflow Foundation and Windows Server environments as well as Vmware a huge plus 4) Visual Studios, C# and ASP.NET development and web interface experience is huge plus. 5) SharePoint Certification is desired. 6) Expert level knowledge of SharePoint 2007, MOSS and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0, IIS, InfoPath and MS Office Integration. Including the ability to architect, design, configure and properly scale a SharePoint Server Farm. 7) Assist with and act as internal consultant on our SharePoint strategy. 8) Lead the team through upgrades and new deployments. 9) Provide support, cross training, documentation and skills development to others. 10) Site provisioning, configuration and permissions administration. 11) Custom script development to automate processes within SharePoint. 12) Develop InfoPath forms, list and workflows. 13) Strong SQL Server 2005/2008 skills (Relational Engine, Integration Services (SSIS)) including database table design and Stored Procedure authoring 14) Understanding of technologies used to support secure Extranets 15) Experience with Plumtree Portal is a plus 16) Experience with a Web Content Management System is a plus 17) Ability to provide effective technical support in time-constrained situations.
