Litigation Support Analyst – CA – San Francisco

- Nossaman is seeking an experienced Litigation Support Analyst to join its busy San Francisco office and, under the direction of the Los Angeles-based Litigation Support Manager, provide support, direction, and guidance to attorneys and paralegals with respect to automated litigation support and the effective and efficient use of litigation support technologies.

Additional duties and responsibilities include:
• Establishing procedures for the preservation, collection, review, and production of relevant data and documents consistent with applicable legal requirements, recognized best practices, available client resources and particular needs of each case;
• Coordinating the conversion, processing, loading, and export of data and images to and from remote systems while maintaining appropriate safeguards and documentation;
• Providing technical and functional support to case team members regarding their use of litigation software, diagnosing and troubleshooting various inconsistencies and related issues and establishing and maintaining relationships with applicable vendors and other outside support resources;
• Consulting with and advising assigned case teams on the selection and management of third-party vendors including the development of appropriate specifications and requirements, coordination of the bidding and selection process, and supervision and scheduling of contracted assignments; and
• Reviewing relevant new developments in the discipline and working with other members of the litigation support team to develop and revise our Firm's best practices and similar protocols.

Experience and other requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a private law firm or comparable setting;
• Associate degree or equivalent training in related discipline required; bachelor's degree preferred;
• Solid understanding of the litigation process and basic working knowledge of the applicable Rules of Court including electronic discovery procedures;
• Proficiency with applicable database management software including Summation (Summation Enterprise a plus), Concordance, Relativity, iConect, LiveNote, and Clearwell (eScanIt or eCapture a plus);
• Proficiency with imaging, coding, and OCR of documents;
• Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills and a keen eye for detail (working knowledge of networking a plus);
• Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team with the necessary determination and confidence to handle difficult situations and enforce established practices under tight deadlines and occasionally exigent circumstances;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated customer service orientation; and
• Must be able to work overtime and travel, as Firm and client needs require.

Webinar/Teleconference Coordinator – MA – Boston

- JOB SUMMARY:
The Webinar/Teleconference Coordinator is responsible for the successful planning, organization and delivery of client-focused monthly online events, primarily delivered via webinars. The management of each event involves developing schedules, drafting invitation content, creating/distributing invitations and event-related communications, and post-event reporting. The coordinator will interface with partners, practice development managers and specialists, and a cross-functional marketing support team, and take the lead role in communicating across the project team. Must be an outstanding project manager who pays above-average attention to detail and is able to effectively balance multiple priorities and a deadline-driven workload.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
• Act as project manager for all practice group webinars and teleconferences; develop and maintain schedules for webinar and teleconference series; establish and communicate marketing-production milestones
 
• Conduct training sessions/rehearsals with speakers; produce all online meetings and assist with troubleshooting as needed
 
• Collaborate with speakers to refine format and delivery of presentation materials; identify opportunities to use advanced webinar tools and, as appropriate, integrate approved elements into live event
 
• Execute all production elements for webinars and teleconferences, including mailing list development, email creation/distribution, Web registration set-up and RSVP tracking
 
• Track/report on all components of online events, including individual wrap-up reports, monthly/quarterly practice group reports, and audience engagement/participation reports; make recommendations to marketing and practice development managers as appropriate
 
• Act as primary back-up for Alerts and work on other marketing department projects on an as-needed basis
 
Requirements
 
• Successfully execute online events and act as client point-of-contact for project status and related issues
 
• Consistently meet project timelines and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
 
• Produce live, online events and teleconferences and improve use of webinar tools/features
 
• Create error-free email communications for online events in line with firm/practice group branding standards and templates
 
• Utilize InterAction to develop mailing lists, track RSVPs and attendees, and run event/attendee reports
 
• Utilize firm's Web site content management system to create online event listings and forms
 
• Proactively manage changes in projects and devise contingency plans
 
• Develop best practices, standards, procedures and quality objectives for all components of online events
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
 
• Must be able to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization
 
• Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years experience in online marketing, preferably in the legal or professional services industries
 
• Demonstrated excellence in project management, possessing a strong familiarity with project management software and tools
 
• Exceptional client/customer service skills
 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to attend to detail
 
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint, with experience using design layout to create professional, impactful slides for live presentations
 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong editing and proofreading
 
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite required; working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Suite software preferred
 
• Prior experience with WebEx, GoToWebinar, LiveMeeting, or other Webinar technologies required
 
• Prior event planning experience a plus
