Position requires a service-oriented individual with strong technical training and management background to provide computer training to attorneys and their support staff. Candidate will also manage a team of trainers across geographically diverse offices. Job duties include conducting classroom and individual training, assessing training needs, developing curriculum, creating training plans, overseeing projects and managing the daily activities of the training staff. Sr. Server Administrator – DC – Washington

This organization maintains a multi-location network supporting over 1,000 end users. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an integrated team to handle implementation and support of the Firm's server infrastructure including server operating systems, data management, Active Directory and virtual environment.
The Sr. Server Administrator is responsible for the setup and maintenance of a VMware/vSphere environment in both the test lab and the production network environment; as well as for backup and recovery of Windows systems using tape (NetBackup) and SAN technologies (NetApp). This position also assists in the design, documentation, implementation, monitoring and support of Windows 2000/2003/2008 network configurations; works in conjunction with the Security Team to implement and support group policy and Active Directory network services (DHCP, WINS & DNS) within a Windows 2003/ 2008 networked environment; troubleshoots Messaging, Network and AD problems, determining underlying causes; works closely with our technical support analysts to provide support for all network-related issues; monitors the network on a daily basis; and other duties that promote the stability of the server environment.
Qualified applicants will be available and willing to work extended and/or alternative hours as needed for issue resolutions, deployments, system upgrades, etc.. They will have 5+ years of demonstrated experience in implementation, administration and support of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server and Active Directory; 2+ years experience working with VMWare, and clustering technologies; as well as proven experience troubleshooting all facets of network related problems. They will also be independent, self-motivated, detail and problem resolution-oriented, and highly organized.
