IT Support Specialist – TX – Dallas

This position is responsible for providing first level phone support on the Help Desk documents and resolves end-user problems related to the firms standard desktop client according to department policies and procedures. Provides second level support on the firms IP Telephony system. Duties include but are not limited to problem resolution, moves, addition's, and changes; documents problems and ensures outstanding issues are resolved with the firm's service levels. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, preferably at a law firm. One year experience providing support on Cisco IP Telephony running Call Manager 6.1 preferred. Previous experience solving hardware and software problems with limited supervision strongly preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to demonstrate high level of expertise with Microsoft Office applications. Strong ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment. Flexibility to work overtime as necessary. Reports to Help Desk Supervisor.

Systems Analyst/DBA – MI – Detroit
Thursday, February 18th, 2010Clark Hill PLC, a mid sized law firm in Michigan, is seeking candidates for a Systems Analyst/DBA in its Detroit office. Information Technology is the department that is responsible for the Firm's computer and telephone infrastructure. The Systems Analyst/DBA is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of the Firm's technology systems.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Utilizes Handshake, Windows SharePoint Services and other tools to automate business operations and improve work production, collaboration, and system efficiencies
• Provides application design, implementation, and support services for firm technology systems
• Takes the lead in systems integration, solution development and resolving system and performance related issues for supported projects and platforms, working with other team members
• Assists in management of centralized data repository and its replication with remote systems
• Stays abreast of latest software development, SQL, and legal technology
• Adheres to Clark Hill development team standards and processes
•Develops operational procedures and documentation for firm systems
• Provides third level technical support for firm technology systems, including server support for MSSQL Server, Citrix, IIS, SQL Reporting Services, and Component Services
• Participates in project planning activities for the Firm
Ideal candidate:
•Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of integrated systems and distributed computing environments
• Familiarity with the products and services generally available in the computer industry
• Position requires the ability to develop working relationships in a high demand client-service delivery
• Strong attention to detail
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with Windows SharePoint Services, Handshake, Elite, and CRM highly desirable
• Must have the ability to analyze technology issues and implement solutions
• Ability to work extended work day with little notice may be required.

The Technology Business Manager is responsible for coordination and development of the annual technology budget and monitoring related expenses. In addition they will ensure the firm's software and hardware licensing is current and maintain a complete license inventory. The Manager supervises a team of procurement and administrative staff and works closely with hardware, software and service vendors.
Required Experience includes:
• 5-7 years experience in Accounting/Finance/Business, with strong knowledge of the budgeting process.
