Senior Marketing Technology Specialist – DC – Washington

Summary:

The Sr. Marketing Technology Specialist plays a key role in the determination and execution of all technology-related marketing initiatives. The ability to see the "big picture" of the department's needs and interface effectively with non-technical team members while carrying out the back-end functions needed to meet these needs is key.
Specifically, the Sr. Marketing Technology Specialist will demonstrate mastery of all aspects of CRM systems (preferably Interaction), understanding of best practices for the execution of webinars and other technologically-driven events, familiarity with Concep and/or mass emailing products or services, and have excellent ability to bring large new projects online.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and support all aspects of the business development capabilities of the Interaction CRM system, including best practices in contacts and client information collection, data management, integration with other applications and data sources, change tracking, and list management.
• Support webinars and new mailing lists generated by the marketing team.
• Work with the Director of Practice Development and other marketing team members to successfully implement a custom-developed case tracking and proposal generation system.
• Collaborate closely with international marketing technology staff and IT team members on the successful integration of our key business development technology systems.
• Identify CRM use metrics, collaborate with IT team to collect statistics, and report CRM use patterns to Marketing management team.
• Liaise effectively between the IT and Marketing departments to ensure that all initiatives are executed efficiently.
• Assess and report accurately to marketing management and IT leadership on the pros and cons of potential new technology solutions for the department, which requires the ability to translate complex technical issues into plain, easily comprehensible language.
• Assess overall department technology needs, and make recommendations on and implement initiatives to streamline functions and create efficiencies.
• Supervise 1-2 direct reports.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
• Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment
• Experience collaborating with international teams highly desirable
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated aptitude for leadership
• An ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Excellent technological and database management skills are required. Computer proficiency with experience and working knowledge of Interaction and Microsoft Office suite (Word and excel) are required. Experience with Concep, WebEx, and Content Pilot strongly preferred. 

 Education, Certifications and/or Experience:

• Five or more years of experience directly involved with operation, design, support, and use of client relationship management (CRM) or similar systems and service preferred
• A BS or BA degree in information systems or related field is preferred

Marketing Technology Manager – DC – Washington

A global law firm poised to expand to 5,500 users in 40+ locations seeks a seasoned Marketing Technology Manager to join its marketing and business development team. The Marketing Technology Manager will play a critical role in the evolution of the Firm's marketing strategy as it relates to the overall management of the Firm's marketing and business development data systems and electronic marketing initiatives.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving the development and execution of a strategic and culturally viable plan for further integrating CRM and other marketing-driven tools in the Firm's business planning;
• Responsible for the management and oversight of the Firm's CRM system (Interaction) and other marketing technologies, including mass emailing products or services;
• Providing expertise to drive scope, requirements and solutions for the creation and implementation of external and internal marketing communications materials;
• Designing, supporting and rolling out of new/enhanced client-facing products or services in conjunction with other Firm departments;
• Responsible for oversight of firmwide CRM training and other related marketing technologies;
• Direct supervision of Marketing Technology staff. 

 Experience - External:

• Effective interpersonal and teamworking skills

• Excellent technological and database management skills are required. Computer proficiency with experience and working knowledge of
Interaction and Microsoft Office suite (Word and excel) are required.

 Education, Certifications and/or Experience:

• Bachelors degree and 7 + years of experience in a professional services organization preferred
• Direct experience in database management, marketing technologies, contact management and CRM systems required. Interaction experience highly preferred.
