- Regional, rapidly growing law firm seeks a Director of IT to manage and support the firm's strategic plan and business goals. The Director will be responsible for all aspects of the firm's technology and report to the Chief Operating Officer.  Responsibilities include the development of a technology plan that supports the firm's strategic plan and business goals. Recommend opportunities to provide better service to clients, perform work more efficiently or gain a competitive advantage through the use of technology. Supervise the operation and maintenance of computer systems, voice and data networks, telephone systems and other related equipment and software in a manner that assures a minimum of operational interruptions. Hire, train and retain a highly qualified staff which understands the importance of its mission in support of providing legal services to the firm's clients. Work with the CFO in the support of the firm's financial management software, and assist and evaluate enhancement features or alternative programs. Develop and implement programs to increase the acceptance and use of technology in the practice of law. RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Document Management Analyst you will perform implementation, documentation, testing and support of Document Management systems: database applications, integration methods and related systems/services. Provide strategic recommendations for document management system and database applications based on in depth analysis of business needs and industry direction. Maintain expert level knowledge on assigned systems and ensure that they are best solution, up to date, and effectively used. Have a thorough understanding of the Firm's and department's organizational structure, business goals, policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
1) Bachelor's Degree in related field or educational and work equivalent. 2) Expert level knowledge of Document Management systems such as Open Text DM or Interwoven I-Manage. 3) Experience and understanding of SQL, database architecture, best practices, integration, stored procedure development. 4) Experience with application integration such as SharePoint based portals, file crawling/indexing, appliance based data integration tools (such as IntApp). 5) Solid understanding of the application lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment. 6) Experience in Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policy and application deployment software architecture (Microsoft SMS, SCCM) is a plus. 7) Strong knowledge of scripting language and automation of repetitive tasks through scripting language such as Windows Host Script, Visual Basic scripting. 8) Talent for creating client satisfaction; demonstrated ability to focus on the client value in all work. 9) Talent for delivering client service through teamwork. 10) High client service ethic and a proven record in delivering exemplary client satisfaction to external and internal client constituencies. 11) Excellent writing skills; ability to present complex ideas succinctly and clearly. 12) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. 13) Strong technical aptitude and understanding, including ability to quickly learn new applications. 14) Strong initiative to proactively increase value to the position. 15) Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions under deadlines. 16) Availability to work overtime; flexibility regarding work schedule. 17) Flexibility regarding work schedule to meet position needs outside of regular business hours. 18) Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines under sometimes stressful conditions. 19) Reliability, dependability, and strong motivation to respond to requests quickly. 20) Excellent teamwork skills and a strong client service orientation.
