Sr. Litigation Support Analyst (Electronic Discovery) – FL – Miami or Orlando

- Akerman Senterfitt, a premier national law firm, is seeking a Sr. Litigation Support Analyst to be based in its Orlando or Miami office.  Reporting to the Director of Computer Applications, the incumbent will supervise an emerging litigation support function and support team, as well as coordinate all litigation support services for the firm.  This position will perform all levels of document management, including setting up Summation databases, creating forms, imaging, data processing, transcript management, project management and electronic data exchange.

We require a bachelors degree and a minimum of 3 years of litigation support experience in a large law firm environment.   Additional requirements include advanced knowledge and expertise in the litigation process and the use of technology to support litigation and e-discovery efforts, including Summation, Concordance, IPRO, LiveNote, CaseSoft products, image management software, and trial presentation software (preferably Trial Director).  Prior litigation experience is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates must have excellent client service and leadership skills, the ability to coordinate projects, have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong negotiating and presentation skills,  demonstrated organizational and teamwork skills, and the ability to deal effectively with all levels of attorneys and staff. Candidates should have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment under strict deadlines.

Financial Systems Administrator/Analyst – VA – Richmond

Hunton & Williams LLP, an international law firm with nearly 1,000 attorneys serving clients from 18 offices around the world is actively recruiting a Financial Systems Administrator (Analyst) for our Richmond office. Established more than a century ago, Hunton & Williams provides legal services to corporations, financial institutions, governments and individuals, as well as to a broad array of other entities. While the firm's has a strong industry focus on energy, financial services and life sciences, the depth and breadth of its experience extends to more than 100 separate practice areas.

As a member of the firm's Enterprise Systems Group, the Financial Systems Administrator will be responsible for analyzing business needs and delivering financial transaction and reporting solutions as part of the Aderant Expert implementation and other development and upgrade projects. The individual will report to the IT Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications, and will participate in project management, product installation and configuration, testing, documentation, operation/maintenance, and technical training & support.  The person in this role will be part of the Business Intelligence team, using Microsoft SQL, Sharepoint & Excel Services to deliver transactional and multi-dimensional reports for finance users, attorneys and management.  One of the primary goals of this position is to help establish a new financial reporting framework, dashboards, client portals, and related business processes to enhance the timeliness, clarity, and availability of financial information.

Specific Skills & Educational Requirements:

• Strong systems and data analytical skills
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• In-depth technical financial analysis skills, including data consolidation
• Understanding of general accounting and finance principals
• Ability to work with business users and transform business requirements into technical specs
• 3 or more years of experience administering Aderant, Elite, or similar financial system in a professional services firm
• 3 or more years MS Analysis Services SQL DB applications
• College degree or equivalent experience required.
