Litigation Support Analyst – ON – Toronto

We are currently seeking a Litigation Support Analyst to join our Toronto team of dynamic professionals.  The successful candidate will have expertise with Summation and other litigation management software, with the ability to work well with lawyers and clerks on the management of e-discovery process.  Some of the responsibilities for the position will include:

• Supporting all levels of document management, including setting up Summation databases, creating forms, imaging, data processing, transcript management, project management, electronic data exchange, and other administrative duties as required
• Providing the necessary training and troubleshooting for lawyers, clerks and other staff on the use of Summation and other e-discovery applications
• Managing third party vendors and internal resources on the document management for Litigation cases
• Recommending new applications/technology tools that will help the Litigation practice
• Assisting in the installation of Litigation software packages and new versions of Litigation applications
• Performing quality control measures to produce an error-free work product
• Managing all aspects of major litigation projects and cases, including responding to day-to-day requests of lawyers and outside counsel on Summation and other e-discovery issues

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in providing litigation technical support.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT environment. 
• Strong working knowledge of multiple litigation support software including Summation, iBlaze, CaseMap, e-Discovery processing software and scanning technologies. 
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking technologies. 
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and text editing software and networking technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and written skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization on technical issues and processes related to a matter.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• An ILCO Law Clerk Designation or knowledge of compiling of affidavits of documents is an asset.
